Catstronaut was made as part of the Pixelles’ Make Games program, an initiative to help women and gender-marginalized people make their first ever video game. It has been an immense joy and privilege to be part of this year’s cohort. I’ve learned so much from all of the incredible workshops and speakers, thank you to the Pixelles team for giving me this opportunity!

A special thank-you to my mentor, Sam, for guiding me through the programming on this project. None of this would have been possible without her expertise and the time she took to help me really understand how the code we wrote together worked.

I would also like to thank the program coordinators, Hanine, Maude, Sam and Elaine. This program has been such an amazing resource, and I’m so glad that initiatives like this exist, for myself and for future aspiring game developers.

Awe yes! Like I told you, such a good experience for small package! You really nail the gameboy-nostalgia vibe and I can't wait to see your next projects!

This was a joy to play! You really nailed the aesthetic across the whole project. Great use of a very limited color palette and very chill sounds. The animation late in the puzzle was very cute and clever!

Thank you so much!!
